Dr. Megan McDonald is a licensed psychologist based in Pasadena, CA. Dr. McDonald received her BA in Psychology from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. She then went on to receive her Masters and Doctorate in Forensic Psychology from the California School of Professional Psychology. She has worked in a variety of settings, including inpatient psychiatric hospitals, an emergency shelter/residential facility for children and adolescents, as well as a shelter for domestic violence. Most recently, she was a Clinical Director at a board and care facility providing county contracted mental health services, including individual and group therapy, crisis management, case management, and medication support. She worked with the Department of Mental Health, ensuring standard of care, quality assurance, and quality improvement. Dr. McDonald also was a Clinical Supervisor for trainees, interns, and peer counselors. Her main clinical interests are mood, anxiety, and thought disorders.
